Do schools know we are re-applicants?

1) Do schools know we are re-applicants? I know the ones we are applied to do, because we have to mark it, but what about schools we haven't applied to?

2) I seem to remember that schools can't see the other schools we applied to, is that right?

1. You should search for this topic. It's been covered before. I always forget the answer. I believe they can find out. Some ask in secondaries. At most of my interviews, there was no direct mention of or questions about my previous application.

2. That is correct.
 
One of the questions when selecting schools on AMCAS is "have you applied to this school before". That's the first indication for that individual school. I don't know if schools have information that you applied to other schools previously.. I doubt they do.
 
question about number 2...

i have heard that schools know that you have interviewed at X school, is this true?
