in pharmcas, you're allowed to submit up to four letters. if schools only accept two, would they randomly choose two letters from the pile, or would they go through all of them?

this may seem like a stupid question, and i apologize if it's been answered before. thanks for your help! 🙂

i've been told they just choose the "first" 2. whether that be the first 2 you list or just the first 2 that are on top of your file.

I know of at least one school that looks at all you send even though they require only 2.

I asked this question in a different thread. I would imagine that they would have to read all of them. If they require one from a pharmacist then how would they know without at least opening all of them?

Something tells me that they probably read all four... I mean, I can't imagine them putting four numbers into a hat, each one representing a recommendation letter, pulling two numbers out and reading those only.

one of my university calculus professors would randomly pick a quiz question to grade even though we were required to do both during the quiz. yuck.
