Out of curiosity, I wanted to ask this question. Let's say you you were waitlisted at School X, and either waitlisted or rejected from every other school. You reapply that May, and submit your secondary on July 1. If any spots open up at School X, do they ever look at the information in your reapplication to make a decision on your waitlist status from the first cycle?

No. They look back, not forward. There are strict protocols they have to follow when pulling people from the WL. Using information from an application in a future cycle does not go into the mix, at all. Trust me, just based on the timing we are all experiencing here, no one is looking at primaries or secondaries for the next cycle until the class is settled for the current cycle. Just doesn't happen, and wouldn't happen even if it could.
