I've taken classes such as Microbiology and Nutrition, which are listed in the above link as counting as "Bio/Zoo" and "Other Science" courses. However, both of those courses are taught at my university through the Nursing department, and in the link above I noticed "Nursing" was listed under "Other Non-science"

how should I classify those classes?

If the class as the word "nursing" in it than its a clinical course not a "science" course per se.

Put it as Bio/Zoo. If the AACOMAS administration feels it to be differently then they will change it themselves during verification.

Hope that helps!

I'd go by the course prefix. Are you saying that they are titled "NURS XXXX" - Microbiology or does it have an actual BIOL XXXX prefix

Both classes have the course prefix "NURS" but neither has the word Nursing in the actual course title. I sent AACOMAS a message asking and they already replied!!! (I figured they would take a few days to respond but I guess I'm wrong). I also included course descriptions.

They said both classes would count towards my science GPA. So I'm still not quite certain on the rule of thumb for classifying courses but in my case maybe the course descriptions were the deciding factor??

Good deal.
