DO shadowing And letter

Hello guys I sent my application in already.
I will be shadowing a DO later this week and possibly asking for a letter if we make a good connection.
Can I send my DO letter in even after I submitted my app? I know some schools strongly recommend one.
Also would you say 16-20 hours of DO shadowing is a good enough experience to talk about and show schools that you're interested in DO?
I've shadowed 90 hours of MD's since they're a lot easier to find

Yes, you can send in your LOR after submitting your primary.
The LOR's are usually looked at by schools to complete your full application along with secondaries.

You may have to let some schools know that you added a letter. Once some receive your primary they have no need to keep going back in to check for additions and AACOMAS does not send it to them.
