Can I put DO shadowing hours in app?

Also for DO app can I put MD shadowing hours ?

Yes, why not? Both MDs and DOs are physicians.

Some DO programs have a requirement that you shadow a DO physician and get a letter from them. I don’t think I’ve seen many MD programs with specifically MD shadowing, but I may be wrong. Either way, definitely include them both in both applications as they are both valuable experiences! I shadowed a family medicine physician who was an MD and an ENT/otolaryngology specialist who was a DO, and included both in both applications.
