Do the programs know where you ranked them? Do they get this from NRMP??

no, the only thing we get is where you have matched.

NRMP doesn't tell. SF Match will tell unmatched applicants whether or not they were on a school's rank list, and approximately where they were on the list, for all the programs an applicant ranks. I don't think they're supposed to, but they do. Or maybe they just took pity on me--I'm not sure.
