So I am an Exercise Science major, and I was just wondering if these classes count as BCMP. I took a Biomechanics class, and it is basically a physics course containing force diagrams and trigonometric calculations for vectors. However the course is listed under a Physical Education science course. Also I took Kinesiology which is labeled a Physical Education science course, however it is basically applied anatomy of the musculo-skeletal system. Lastly, and probably my biggest question is that I take a nutrition class for my major which is also a PES class. However, this class was also applied and used to fullfill my Biology minor, so wouldn't that be able to be used as a Biology course? Thank you!

Looks like it would fall under health sciences:

Allied Health
Chiropractic
Dentistry
Hearing & Speech Studies
Hospital Administration
Kinesiology
Nursing
Nutrition
Occupational Therapy
Optometry
Osteopathy
Psychiatry
Physical Therapy
Physician Assistant
Public Health
Pharmacology & Pharmacy
Sports Medicine
Veterinary Medicine

Do you have any idea if you have the ability to include the course description in hopes to challenge whether the course counts towards BCMP gpa? Because the biomechanics class I took was identical to the Physics 1 material haha.

You can characterize the classes as BCPM if more than 50% of the class is hard science. If AMCAS relassifies it, you can appeal the decision by filling out a form and including a link to the online catalog description.

Is that the only evidence AMCAS will consider?

What about a letter from the instructor or examples of course material?
