Hi I wanted to know if top 10-20 schools accept mcat score updates during the cycle. For instance, if one applies with an old mcat score but retakes it in January to improve their application?

Hi I wanted to know if top 10-20 schools accept mcat score updates during the cycle. For instance, if one applies with an old mcat score but retakes it in January to improve their application?

The last MCAT administration for 2024 is in September, and that is also the last test date the top schools will look at for this application year.

If you are not seeing interviews by January, you could retake it then but it would be for the next app cycle.
