DO training for MDs

Here is a link I found for MDs who want postgraduate training in Osteopathic manipulation. This guy Dr. Rind, MD did the training and now offers osteopathy. The program is at Michigan State which makes all kinds of sense since they have both a DO and an MD school there.

This really isn't a new concept, there are many FP physicians out there that I know of that integrate manipulation as part of their practice...
 
Are they allopaths that got osteopathic training after their allopathic M.D. residencies?

I didn't know this was common.
