I wait until I'm IN the interview... I've found that waiting until the PD is in front of me works much better... that way I can offer him/her a 40 to throwback.

i typically wait until the interview feels like it's heading south

when that happens, i have nothing to lose and can kick back, down a ice, cold drink, stick my hand down my pants, and belch 😛 (al bundy style!)

Hell's yeah. You can act all snooty and pull out a single malt or something.
It's even better if your suitcase is really a portable bar and not really a suitcase.
