Does anyone know if your undergrad GPA is relevant for post-DVM education? I would think they'd be more concerned with vet school grades, but just curious if they go back and look at college work at all.

Depends. For lab animal medicine residencies they asked for all undergrad transcripts, GRE, and vet school transcripts. I'm not sure how much my undergrad GPA actually factors into their decision, but they did ask for the transcripts.

Or taking the shot in the last 3 seconds of your pee-wee soccer tournament and losing the game for your team. Residencies might not like that!

I remember missing a lay-up in youth basketball at the end of the game....now I know why Penn let me in.....they didn't know about my horrific background.

That explains a lot.

Man. Residencies are more and more looking like a terrible option for me.

VIRMP for small animal rotating internships hasn't seemed to ask me anywhere for Undergrad grades or GRE scores. Just vet school transcripts and class rank.
