Do veins have smooth muscle?

I was wondering if veins also had smooth muscle like arteries to dilate and contract~

Yes they do but it is considerably less than the arteries, hence their smaller wall thickness.

Yes they do. Veins have really low pressure so that is why they have valves and smooth muscle to aid the venous return.

The smooth circular muscle in veins and arteries is for controlling resistance, not to aid venous return. The muscle that aids venous return is skeletal muscle outside of the veins.
