I keep hearing that DO's are second rate doctors, and that caribs can't get residencies but I see plenty of Carib MD's working, can someone tell me the truth please, the pros and cons of each. Thank you in advance.

The fact that the OP didn't respond in a troll manner to the first couple posts makes me actually think they just actually don't know and didn't know (want?) to use the search function. For once I will give them the benefit of a doubt and bite:

You see Carib docs because 10+ years ago it was a very viable option. Now you will have about a 25-40 % chance of matching, which is absolutely brutal. As a DO you might not get a coveted Harvard NS spot but you will be a doc at the end.

For any more detail use the search function

And you're a "second rate" doc. Lol what a joke OP is.
