Do we have to know c13 nmr for the new mcat?

It's pretty simple though, right... 13C NMR tells you how many equivalent C atoms there are and similar rules apply for shielding/deshielding effects.
 
Similar to @Cawolf, I would think just HNMR as well, but if you know HNMR it'll only take a little bit further effort to understand CNMR so with the ambiguity of the content outline (it's very general) I would say it's worth your time to just review that info once and be done with it.
