I understand that application can be sent without DAT score.

But I am not sure if we can send application without LOR and transcripts.

I asked my pre-health advisor if he finished writing the committee letter yet but he said he won't even start writing it until I give him AADSAS application form to him.

I was wondering if he meant LOE matching form but he wants the application itself.

This is exactly what he said
"The committee letter will not be completed or submitted until I receive your submitted AADSAS form and all your other declared letters as listed on your Checklist."

But I think that means I have to e-submit first to be able to print out and give him the e-submitted application and that means I will be sending application without LOE.

Is this really a good idea? That's like sending an empty application that has only the personal statement and personal info.

I believe that DAT score goes directly to each school but AADSAS is the one that collects transcripts and LOR so I don't know if it's possible to check whether they recieved transcripts and LOR after e-submitting application.

I submitted today with only 2 of my 4 LORs completed...and transcripts take a while, there's no reason to wait on them to submit.

The AADSAS form they were talking about was the LOR matching form.

I gave my advisor my AADSAS info so she knew about my accomplishments and what I've been involved in.

Since you have not completed your AADSAS, if you provide your advisor with a resume or CV, and a list of volunteer/community service activities you have done, they can easily write you a LOR. But don't forget to print out the LOR matching form to give them!

HOpe this helps!

Good luck!!!

are you saying that submitted AADSAS form that he refers to is LOE matching form? or is there a form besides LOE that we can print out and give to him after e-submitting?

when he says "submitted" doesn't that mean it's some kind of form I get after "submitting" such as receipt?

This is what his website says
"Upload your AMCAS, AACOMAS, AADSAS, PharmCAS, VMCAS, SOPHAS, CASPA, PTCAS, and other primary application services. The submitted application should include a transcribed list of coursework taken and probably your personal comments essay."

And I don't know what it means by uploading AADSAS application. How do we do that?

You can get the matching form now. Just fill in the info on AADSAS and print it.

Can you go back and add an LOR after you esubmit? I'm waiting on my dentist to call me back, but if I can go ahead and esubmit and then add his name in later, I'd prefer to go ahead and do that.

I don't think so.

Yes you can update your evaluators section...I was in the same situation- wasn't sure who my 4th evaluator was going to be- but I wanted to submit already so I called AADSAS and they said you can update the LOR section at any time after e-submitting. I submitted and the option to edit or add another evaluator is still available.

Yes, you can. If you click on "Instructions for this Section" it says this in red letters:

You may make revisions to this section at any time during the application process (before February 15, 2010).

Other sections say this:

You will not be able to revise this section after e-submitting your AADSAS application. Review your entries carefully before submitting.

Oh okay, thanks. It didn't occur to me to check the instructions for that section. Sorry.

What is the benefit of submitting early w/o transcript, DAT score, and LOR? Do they start looking at my app w/o those materials? Thanks for your help in adavance.
