I feel like studying 4-6 hours a day for TWO straight months seems a little too much.

I mean...that's 60 days!

I haven't registered or anything but I got all my materials and I'm pumped to take the DAT in late Sept/early Oct.

So for social, family, fun reasons, do you guys study during the weekend too?

I was planning on not studying during weekends and just do w/e but I want some input first.

it all boils down to your academic background:

if you have strong academic background by doing very well in school, it would be much easier to study.

but if you don't, study till you feel comfortable

hahaha, no weekends when the DAT is before you.

haha, weren't you the one who was incredulous to the idea of studying for more than a month for this thing too?

why would you be so averse to the idea of putting in at least an hour or 2 per weekend day. i know that if i took the weekends off i'd probably forget stuff somewhere in between.

just do what you gotta do 😎

like knee-coal, i personally can't take too many days off from studying for the test otherwise i'll forget stuff and get really paranoid.. it's good for me to not study 1day of the week though to go out socialize and do some light drinkin 😛

Yeah I'm thinking about studying from like 4-10PM every day on weekdays

Then on weekdays, something light like 3-7PM.

LOL. No, but really...

Really...you shouldn't take any days off IMO.

Instead, lower the hours during weekdays and add a few hours to the weekend. It will keep everything balanced.

July 20th. The day I begin....30 mins left until I officially start. FML.

I study on the weekends because I end up not being able to focus at least once during the week so I make up for it on the weekend.

Just Saturdays off....weekdays anytime between 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. depending on when I go to bed...then afternoons off with kids....last Saturday I took them to the pool and felt very lost without studying--I was bored and solving word problems in my head....for the love of God, DO TAKE at least 1 day off! That was my real first day off in weeks!

Work HARD today, play tomorrow 👍

My Histology teacher told me "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow" 😛

but, my grandpa always tell me this :

"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow"😎
