i'm going to buffalo tomorrow and the hotel's shuttle bus is picking me up, dropping me off, etc. i was wondering if any of you that have taken shuttles from the airport or to your interviews by the people from the hotel you stayed at, if you tipped the shuttle bus driver. just wondering if i should be bringing an extra couple of dollars with me!

Yes, bring a few extra bucks with you to tip the shuttle driver.

Give the driver the exact fare and say, "keep the change." 😀

My new year resolution is not to overtip. I always tip 25-30 percent even though I am broke as hell. Yes you should tip the cab drivers well, it shows some courtesy and respect.

If you have to ask-----then yes...

You've already spent an extra $200 on a suit, $100+ on a flight, $80+ on the hotel, so unless you're sooo broke, you should easily be able to afford a measly $2-3.00...

Same principal goes with FREE DINNERS/BUFFETS (like for veterans on Vet. Day)----Even though the meal is free, you should ALWAYS leave a tip...It's the right thing to do and purely just common sense..

I always tip around 2-5 dollars. Ok not always, I didn't tip my taxi driver yesterday though. He's an hour late and I was almost 30 hours late to my interview. I wasn't TOO happy about that

Wow! Thirty hours is pretty late! 😱 I don't think I'd pay that taxi driver at all. 😛

Seriously though, that sucks.

I took a shuttle in Philly and Phenix. I tipped $3 each way even though I was charged gratuity during reservation and had no luggage for the driver to carry. If you have a luggage, then I'd tip $4-5 each way

sorry kinda off topic
but where did you stay at buffalo??
is it walkable distance from the campus that and has shuttle??

you should definitely tip

I am staying at ComfortInn (1 Flint Road) 10 mins from South campus, next to my hotel there is a good cheap pizza place.
I already love Buffalo
