I have discovered that my medical school only offers laboratory components with the following classes:

Gross Anatomy
Neuroanatomy
Microbiology
Histology

Is this typical? Below is a list of classes that are offered at the medical school, and I am curious to know if medical students at other institutions actually have laboratory components for some of these other classes:

Gross Anatomy
Histology & Cell Biology
Medical Embryology
Biochemistry
Medical Physiology
Neuroanatomy
Microbiology & Immunology
Behavioral Sciences
Pharmacology
General Pathology
Medical Genetics
Systemic Pathology

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks for your time.

have gross, neuro and histo

micro was canceled when our new micro prof and head of the dept showed up, Hawley? I just know she is one of the authors of the brs and high yield micro books.

not sure if the cancelling was good or not.

Labs:
Gross Anatomy
Histology/Cell Biology
Microbiology (just a few times in lab...not really doing much)
Neuro (specimens...IDing structures)
Pathology

During 2nd year, we have had a lab for our Infectious Disease Domain as well...just another micro lab basically.
