Do you have to pass each component?

Hi all,

I was wondering whether in order to pass step 3 you had to pass each component of the 2 days exam? In other words do you have to pass both MCQs and CCS, or could one compensate for the other?

Yes and No. In order to pass you'll need most of MCQ and CSS correct. Each failed CSS means that you have to answer 2-3 more questions in each block correctly. So you can compensate, but if you fail too much, it might not be enough.
