Just curious what do you guys think? I really don't see any benefit for people to do this but there are some people who are like that perhaps???
I don't think there's a lot of lying per se.... but you can be sure that the people who make their scores known are most likely people who did pretty well. People who do badly don't normally shout it out to the rooftops. In that sense, SDN doesn't give you an accurate sample of DAT scores.

cant prove it right thats why i spent my $43 to buy myself an adea book.
i don't think people lie about their scores. I mean what for? where is the motive? haha
However, this site is like a good example of genetic drift -
those who post here are not an accurate representation of the whole population and display decreased variability and lack traits normally seen in the original population, aka low scores.
Hahahaha!!
I am sure that everyone on this website has come across that same thought at one point or another, how can you not?
The way I see it, some people look at this "phase" as a competition against one another and others see it as an opportunity to help each other out as a group working toward a common goal. Surely there are some bad apples out there who will do what ever they can (large or small) to get ahead, but theres nothing that can be done about that.
This website provides a ton of awesome information regarding the exact questions we as applicants have. Thats why I am on it all the time, and so are you!!! Hahaha!
I have thought about this and concluded that it dosent matter if people lie or not, just so long as they don't give bad advice. So... Take from it what you can, but make sure that the information here only improves you and does not discourage you. If someone busts out a redak score, that only means that it is possible and that any of us can!! Hopefully they provide a breakdown so people can improve, but other than that, high scores open doors for everyone to achieve.
I have not taken my exam yet, but I will soon and I look forward to giving back to this forum.
Just my 2 cents.
if you don't get at least a 27/32/29 you're probably not meant for dental school. And did you know black sharpies are excellent for removing stains?
