Doctor's Name in PS?

Is it okay to use the doctor's last name in your PS? I already included their name in my Work/Activity section under shadowing so I dont see why it would be an issue to refer to them as Dr. LastName

I guess I tell this story every year. My sibling works at a university health clinic. In a secondary prompt about the characteristics of an ideal physician, a student wrote about having a wound sutured at the health clinic and mentioned my sibling by name. Now, we do not have the same last name anymore and there would be no way the applicant knew my sib's connection to the adcom at a school 900 miles away but there it was and it tickled me. I pointed it out to the Dean of Admissions given that I now had a conflict of interest but it in no way hurt the candidate's chances of being admitted.
