My documents were delivered to SF office on July 18, but still not uploaded yet, more than 3 weeks now. Emailed them ,got no responses....
Any comments?

It'll take some time, because this one of the peak periods of applicants sending in their documents. They're typically swamped at this time so don't worry..yet. Even if your documents get uploaded near the latter of this month you still have plenty of time.

I ask because my package was delivered by USPS, but so far nothing shows up as "received", let alone uploaded. It's only been a week in my case.

Strange, I overnight mailed my stuff on tuesday, was received on wednesday, and shows everything being received as of today..

I called SF match and apparently, NONE of the applications they have received so far have been uploaded. She said the latest any of the applications will be uploaded will be next week.

I called SF Match yesterday and learned two things:

1) The first of the applications haven't been uploaded yet. They'll get to it next week.

2) There's no concept of "batches" -- apps are first in, first out on a rolling basis.

Hope that helps clear up some confusion.

I think the fellas at SF Match send out conflicting info at times. I was told by the SF staff manager there was a first "group" of applications that will be sent out next week, implying they are sent in batches at predetermined times rather than on a rolling basis. My understanding after speaking to the manager is it makes no difference when you submitted your docs as long as they are received before the first upload date.

The SF Match is a necessary system, but by no means are they good at what they do. Sorry for the frustration. I still remember the days when they sent out hard copies to all of the programs (ERAS went to internet delivery and upload years before SFmatch). What a crazy system that was... and that was years after Al Gore created this thing called the internet.

Hi Dear fellows, thanks for your input...
So it seems that none of any applications (of anybody) has been uploaded, not to say distributed.
Perhaps all we can do is wait...

When you guys mailed in your documents, did you include some sort of cover sheet with your name and SF match ID on it? I just realized that I completely didn't do that and just mailed in all the required documents in a big envelope... is this going to be a problem?? If they lose those documents I'm completely screwed...

hi I think they are starting to upload paperwork now. Mine were received 7/21 at 3:11pm and uploaded 8/15 1:42pm, but I'm pretty sure the status did not show uploaded until much later this afternoon.

First batch of docs were uploadede at "1:42 pm" on 8/15. They are uploaded in sets at predetermined times according to the SF match manager.


Question for everyone! How do you know when an interview request comes? Is it sent to the email on file?

My stuff just got uploaded (2:00 PM Pacific) less than 5 minutes ago. Docs were received on 8/12.

Looks like rstonk you're just wrong.

All I can tell you is what sf match staff has told me, so you can take it up with them. I called again Tuesday, and they said documents will continue to be uploaded on a daily basis from here on out (I.e., no batches). Agree with the poster who said the match service sends out conflicting info, which is why its great to have a community like this to share what we've heard.

That said, I really appreciate that your first post on sdn was such a constructive one.

I agree with Rstonk. I had also called SF match and they told me that they upload the files on the daily basis (there were no batches). But definitely agree, that different people at SF can give different information.
