does aadsas send a copy of transcript to schools?

my gpa got verified today and i was wondering if AADSAS sends only their own chart to schools or do they send a copy of my transcript to all schools?

and also, a friend told me that if it gets verified today, it probably won't be sent for another week, and school will probably receive them at the end of december or early january...Does it take that long to send?

You should look at the secondary application for schools since some schools require you to send them an official transcript in addition to AADSAS.

First off, I dont think AADSAS sends your transcripts, otherwise why would some schools ask for them. Secondly, it can take up to 3-5 days for your grades to get verified but since its towards late in the cycle, it prolly will only take a couple of days if not a day now. Lastly, AADSAS sends out a new batch every couple of weeks. So realistically, you are looking at mid to end of December.

How long does it take for schools to receive it after it has been mailed?

I was thinking of somewhere along the lines: mailing takes about 1 week from AADSAS to schools
Then 2-4weeks for schools to go through the files.
Is that realistic?
Perhaps after Dec 1st, everything will speed up? 😀
