My school has been trying to convert people into the biochem/chem dept. by saying that those programs are ACS accredited, and it's such a great thing, and they were among the first to get accrediation, and yadiyadiyada, but i'm thinking, is it all that important? and how can a school offer a degree in something if it's not accredited?
