Does AMCAS "reset" for next years appl.?

I plan on applying next year, but if i were to just fill out partial application, the "filler" stuff like "Identifying Information", will this be saved for next year?

you may want to ask questions about pre-MD stuff on the Allopathic threads, but to answer your question. All information will be lost at the end of this app. cycle and you will have to re-enter it next app cycle. Just wait till next year and the minute they open up the cycle get typing!!!!

actually, as a reapplicant... my AMCAS was pre-populated with most of my info. I had to change some of it, but it was a timesaver.

dunno about a reapplicant AACOMAS.

the nice thing about amcas is that it does have all your info in the blanks already if you submitted amcas the previous year 🙂 all you have to do is go through each section and save it as 'complete' again. I do not know if this would be true if you are simply filling out filler information without actually submitting it. i have a feeling that it may not be saved if you are not going to submit it this year. Call Amcas definitely to find out...better to know for sure🙂

heyya...i am a reapplicant as well and my amcas was still completed filled in, i had to go back and change/add stuff but it was nice not to reenter all my classes etc.
