hey folks, im in the middle of deciding whether i should push my exam back another 3 weeks (giving me 7 weeks to study instead of 4). Does anyone think 4 weeks is sufficient amount of time to study and by giving myself more time i would be minimizing my chances of doing well because i will burn out in 7 weeks?
What do you guys think? How many weeks of study time is optimal?

It depends. I did a solid amount of prep during my second year and now I am sitting here in my 5.5 week dedicated study period twiddling my thumbs at my target score. I am so happy to be doing well but at the same time I just want to all to be over with. I keep thinking if my score doesn't increase that I will look at this month as an incredible waste of time I coulda spent on the golf course or being a normal human being. I should also mention that I am too chickens*#$ to move up my test date as well.

Before you push it back have you taken any NBMEs? Changing your test date before taking one wouldn't be the best idea.
