that their pets look like humans sometimes? I swear, sometimes when I look at them, they seem to have human-like faces and expressions.

I don't really like the idea of anthropomorphizing animals because I think it leads to people getting hurt. I do it to my dog all the time though.
She does have very human-like expressions and peculiar little habits that are just so much like a little kid (she can throw a tantrum, for example, and she hides behind my leg like a little kid when she's being shy).
I think, though, that as long as we know that animals are always animals (and therefore capable of acting as any predator would), then it is alright to anthropomorphize (probably not actually a word in this form, but I don't care) them a little. 🙂

That's funny, because I swear sometimes my older cat looks like a snake. Obviously, that's a slightly different thing, and I know that sounds insane. But she's kinda evil sometimes (though I love her) , so I'm sure part of it is that. And she's really skinny, with quite an angular face, so when her ears are back and her head is positioned just right, I think her face looks rather snake-like.

One of my dogs, when I talk to her, will look at me and cock her head to one side, then the other, looking puzzled -- it is the cutest thing ever!!!
Other than that, I mostly think my dogs look like other animals, more than like people. Both my furry dogs look like little bears 😍 and my non-furry dog looks like a seal. 🙂

Some of the expressions that I see on my dogs' faces are so easy to name that I sometimes imagine them as "mini-people". I mean, I know that they're not people exactly, but when you know an animal, you can start reading them just like you would any other family member or friend.
We are all SO cool!

my favorite is when pets look like their owners. Or have the same conditions as their owners. I swear it happens ALL the time where I volunteer at!!
