I'm just curious...does anyone here have special connections to admissions committees? What schools and how?

Just makes me (one with no connections) wonder what else I have to do to make it over the top.

My dad taught dentistry at Boston University from around 2001-2007 and I didn't get an interview. How's that for connections 😛

My cousin and her husband both went to Pacific and have connection to the Admissions Office.
And both of my parents [and currently me] went to USC but not to the dental school so I'm not sure if that counts.

haha..Well I just replied to the dean of admissions..so I've got a pretty good connection. Plus, I'm a janitor at Harvard.

I know in my University Dean's own daughter was rejected last year because she was not competent enough.
