Have you run into any problems with schools not taking it? I just got an e-mail from LECOM-Erie that I'm short three hours because I only took one English course. I CLEPed out of English just because it came easier to me and I didn't want to spend the time on another course. LECOM won't take CLEP credit so next semester I'll have to take another English class. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I never took any CLEP credits so I can't comment on that. I am however impressed that you actually got any communication form LECOM.

LECOM is one of my top choices. Actually LECOM-B and LECOM-E are my top choices. My husband got an e-mail from Erie to get his LORs in and last week he received an interview invite. I'm cautiously hopeful that I will get one as well. I'm so glad they e-mailed though because I hadn't e-mailed the schools yet to find out which ones won't accept my CLEP credit. Have you had a hard time contacting them?

I took a crapload of gen ed cleps.

I took several English classes for gen ed credit (cleped the two very basic ones,) Oh, I hope it doesn't bite either of us in the ass.

That's what I'm hoping. I really don't think it will be a problem for me to squeeze in an English class in the spring. I'll definitely be taking it at the community college and possibly online if I can sign up early enough. I plan on taking Biochem in the spring also and thought about taking the calculus CLEP but it looks like only a couple schools require math.
