I'm planning to take my NREMT basic exam soon. It's been about 6 months since the end of my class (I took the state exam right afterwards). Anyone know of any good free study materials?

If you've been accepted into medical school already, that means you have the brains to pass an exam that is written at the 8th grade level. Just go over the NREMT skill sheet, remember your ABCs and just take it. I took the NREMT 3 months after the course. Passed it no problem.

I studied for 1 week and passed the NREMT on the first try. It's a joke compared to some of the exams you take in undergrad, especially compared to the MCAT.

Your textbook from the class is a good resource. If you've got an extra $40, this is what I used to study for it. http://www.emt-national-training.com/?src=google&gclid=CIXqxLnSgNACFRQGhgodOzYO3Q

It was relatively helpful and inexpensive. I'd suggest just doing the 1 month subscription and going through a few hundred practice questions (or more if you do poorly at first).

LOL I felt like my state certification test was WAAAYYYY harder than the MCAT. I don't think you realize how much I suck at OBGYN stuff lol.

I went through the EMT for dummies once before the exam and passed no problem. In my opinion, a freshman level bio exam is harder than the NREMT.

Did you take any notes? I mostly reviewed my notes and the test wasn't so bad. However, the test was confusing AF. For skills, just watch YouTube videos.
