Hi,

Does any one or has anyone heard of Steven (also known as Freelance-teacher) in Berkeley, CA?

Thank you for the input!

I watched his YouTube videos once to learn a certain concept that I was shaky on in O-Chem 2. It was incredible... when I walked into that test I knew that there was absolutely no way I was going to miss any questions on that topic, and I didn't.

I didn't know his name was Steven, or that he lived in Berkeley, though.

When I was preparing for the MCAT, I watched his videos for some of the physics stuff, especially in regard to magnetism and circuits. It actually helped quite a bit. But, you have to sort through quite a few videos and it can be time consuming. If you choose to use his videos, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to go through them.

Would anyone please be able to link me to his video page on YouTube? I tried searching Steven Berkley in YouTube but am not sure if I got the right guy.

Thanks!

i've watched some of freelanceteach's video, however i've found that khan from khanacademy is incredibly, incredibly helpful for pratically any of the science topics (gchem, physics, ochem, some bio).

Actually if you go to the same place as the guy below indicates:

http://www.freelance-teacher.com/

thats his website if you want tutoring

All the videos are in order. I just discovered this and it's awesome.

when I think of a "freelance teacher" in Berkeley, I think of some homeless guy out on the street corner shouting at people to find Jesus.

I agree. They are both obviously weird dudes but I learned better with khan.

He is so good, I was wondering the same thing. A guy with this caliber of knowledge should not find it too hard to pursue a career in anything. Khan is good but he doesn't provide any practice problems like freelance.

Would hate to bring a dead thread back but has anyone hired this guy for MCAT prep?
