Does anyone know someone in the recent history who has gotten into medical school without graduating from college? About a third of the US med schools claim they do not require a degree, and I know plenty of dentists who do this still, and some physicians 20-30 years ago who got in w/o a B.S., but I don't know if it still happens, and my pre-med counselor had no idea.

Thanks!

If you get your hands on an MSAR or other med school booklets, its proally around 90%+ that get admitted had a bachelors degree of some sort. I think the 90 hrs requirement might exist if someone had a special situation where they left school and maybe worked for a few years and then applied after taking the mcat and any other pre req's. Overall from what i remember about reading med school viewbooks its usually less than 5 people per class dont have a BA or BS
