In the past, students requested paper viewbooks from schools they were interested in. Today, it seems like most schools have pretty comprehensive websites, and I haven't seen many schools that offer viewbook request forms on their websites.

Anyone know whether viewbooks are still used, and how to get them?

I know that some med schools still send paper viewbooks. U of Rochester, Mount Sinai and Albany Med sent me brochures after I sent my secondaries to them. Also, some schools will give you viewbooks and other information during your interviews there. Best of luck with the app process!

Around April of last year, I sent emails to all the schools I was interested in, but I only received several viewbooks, while the rest of the schools pointed me to their websites. 🙄 My school's premed office had a lot (with extras) so I "borrowed" some of those. ....and then at the end of this year I donated everything I had accumulated from secondaries from schools that had rejected me. 🙂 The schools that sent me them were Sinai, Dartmouth, Rochester, Vermont, St Georges sent me tons of stuff  , and I guess a few others I can't remember...
