It won't matter.I have a friend that is taking the MCAT in may and he was wondering if he submitted the app in mid June, would he be in a disadvantage compared to someone who submitted it in early June. He is applying in June 15. Not sure how to respond or answer him.
Your friend should be prepared to submit in the first week of June. You do NOT need an MCAT score to submit your primary application.
For me, preparing my application was a good break from studying for the MCAT. If you have good time management skills, it's manageable. Obviously do not submit an application if it is not ready.but putting together a strong application while preparing for the MCAT is not always the road to success.
If you don't have an MCAT score your app technically is not ready. There is always the chance you don't get the right score. For me, preparing my application was a good break from studying for the MCAT. If you have good time management skills, it's manageable. I worked on my application throughout the spring semester before I applied. I studied and took the MCAT on May 31st. I took the next week to finish and polish my application and submitted on June 7th. I was verified before the first group of apps went out.
Got it, that is good to know. I know some schools like Wake Forrest ask if you've ever applied in another cycle in their secondaries, but I was under the impression all schools had access to whether or not you've applied in general during a previous cycle, just not what schools you've applied to.No, you only are considered reapplicant to the specific schools you previously applied to. Hence why you apply to throwaway school
