ive decided to atttend med school instead of dental school, i start this fall. on my college app i indicated pre-dental. will calling the school and letting them know of my new intentions affect financial aid?

No difference. There is no such thing as a pre-dental or pre-med major at most schools anyway. You will be an undergraduate and you have decided to be a pre-med. The admissions at the schools you apply to in 3.5 years will decide if you attend medical school.
