I have decent stat(3.48cgpa/3.43sgpa, 21AA/21TS/24PAT) and I was put on "contunuing review" at Baffalo. Is that a polite way of informing rejection? Or is there anyone who got interview after "contiuing review"? I want an interview from Buffalo so badly.
I think you are still in the running. They could just have just put you file off on the side to be considered further later depending on what they get.
Hey, I got that too, and I think it's because we are Canadians.
They will probably consider us AFTER they've reviewed all in-state/American applicants.
Buffalo seems to be one of the most out of state friendly state school around.
The OP has better DAT but I feel the reason I got picked over him for now is that I have interesting things in my application which do not translate into GPA/DAT.
It means that your application is under continuing review. If the school knew they were going to reject you, they would tell you so. I believe that at some point last year I had a message from Buffalo saying the same thing.
for those of you who know or who did get an interview after being under continuing review..did you do anythig to help your sitaution? any suggestions?
I just got a continuing review letter and am worried what it means to get one at this time in the cycle. Does their continuing review pile work with first comes first serve basis - whoever is on top will get re-evaluated first and invited for the interview- or is it a non-ranked pile/list?
did anyone get any positive responses from the school when you contacted them, if you did, about continuing review?
They can't tell you about an acceptance before Dec. 1st, but they can reject you...
But you should go ahead and get your panties in a bunch about that continuing review...unless you haven't interviewed yet, then you just half to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Its a long cycle and UB takes students until the start of matriculation
