Does Creighton let you change dates?

I got an invite from Creighton today. I really can't handle this interview right now. Does anyhone know if they let you schedule something way out like in January? They gave me 3 dates in the email.

They made no accomodation for me. I was given three dates (all very close to when I received the interview invite, making it impossible to find cheap airfare), and they wouldn't let me schedule something in November.

They told me that October 15 is the latest day that they interview! Then I saw people posting interviews in November ... so the school basically lied to me.

They did lie to you. My dates were 10/22, 10/29, and 11/5. That royally bites.


Ok some advice needed here. I have 9 interviews in the next 3 wks. If I do Creighton, it'd be 10. No acceptance yet. Do I take it or leave it? Please no one flame me. I realize I am lucky and feel very fortunate.

I am in the same situation, wxl31, and I wouldn't bother doing it. 9 interviews in 3 weeks is a ton. People will tell you that you shouldn't turn anything down until you have an acceptance, but that is only true to a certain extent. At some point, you need to pick and choose. There is only so much that you can handle. I'm not kicking myself for my decision.

just a note about creighton -- i spoke with the woman in admissions there and when i spoke to her [a week ago or so] she said that they only had a couple interview dates even open - and they more or less fill those before opening new dates. weird policy, but they probably werent lieing to you!

Perhaps, but when a person absolutely can't attend the offered interview date, you would think that the school would be a little more understanding. It was just a tough spot to be in because the dates they offered were within 1 and 2 weeks of the date I received the invite. The third date is the date of my MCW interview. No hard feelings, though. It's a good school. 👍

it is strange though. i think i would really like creighton based on everything ive read/heard about them, but i havent heard anything yet so i called the office to see what my status was - i havent been reviewed yet [complete in mid-august]. apparently they 'unoffically' rank/organize their students and then review them in that order -- she said it wasnt even mcat/gpa based and that they look for a lot of different things. **so** glad i got everything in as early as possible! haha.... but it does look like a great school, hopefully the interviews work out for you guys!

Just so you guys/gals know, Creighton for the first 3 weeks of interviews mostly Creighton students so that might be one reason you have not been reviewed yet. As for Creighton, I had 10 interviews and I went to 9 of them (8 out of state) and Creighton was my top choice out of state so I'd give Creighton a shot (unless you got into like a top 20 school or something).
