Duke never sent me an email to let me know I have an interview offer. I didn't realize it until I looked at the status web page. Is that normal? I wonder if they would have emailed me or sent a letter if I never bothered to check the status web site. I wasn't constantly checking that site cause I had given up hope on it. Do the other schools with status websites do the same thing? (i.e. UPenn, UMich, Northwestern) Do they post the offer just on the status web site without actively contacting interviewees?

I know they are having issues with that page. I had my interview there about 1 week ago and now it says "schedule your interview". Call them!!!!!

Hey there, the Duke website reflected my interview before I heard about it officially, but they did, in fact, send me an email shortly thereafter. It took a long time for them to update the status page after I finished my interview, though, so I don't think it's 100% reliable.

I still have not received an email from them regarding an interview, I did receive an automatic email confirmation of registering for an interview date. I am scheduled to go there on Monday. Hey oldman,

Did you call them? Ask them to check their schedule to see if you are on it. That should tell you if something weird is going on.

The UPenn status check won't tell you if you get an interview, but they'll send you an email, so it's still pretty quick.

They changed my interview schedule to accomodate, so I take that as a sign I have a real interview.
