Does each applicant have a unique support contact number?

I always thought it was weird how when you call AACOMAS they never ask you for your name or ID number. Today, I called about a transcript issue. Without asking my name, he was able to tell me my transcript was received and will be posted in five days. I don't see how he would be able to tell me this information unless each applicant has a special contact number, but that sounds ludicrous.

Thoughts?

I think they have your contact phone number when you create the account no?
 
I think companies (and who knows, maybe AACOMAS) are implementing software that identifies the incoming caller by their telephone number and brings up their account information automatically.

This happened to me the other day...I want to say it was one of my credit cards, I called to get a balance or something...phone rings, representative picks up and says, "Hello, Mr. XXXXXX, how can we help you today." I was just like, uuuuhhh...
