Does financial aid cover a minor?

Hi, I was wondering if financial aid for undergrad covered a minor? Reason I am asking is that I majoring in sociology but in order for me to apply to med school I need to do certain prereqs right. Will those prereqs which are not part of my sociology major be covered by my financial aid? I have not taken any prereqs for med school yet, I am a junior.

Financial aid covers tuition. What classes you choose to take is up to you.

They should be. At my school, the premed advisors and biology advisors were separate.

You should be talking to your financial aid office. Given that financial aid depends on many factors, you won't get the best advice here. The same goes for pre-med advisors. Impress someone directly knows about your school, they can't really give you advise.
