Does general ed class rigor matter?

For General education requirements that each school requires, do the rigor of the classes matter? Should I be attempting to incorporate medicine into them some how (e.g. taking History of Medicine for a History requirement)?

Also, maybe a very stupid question, but will taking Soviet Russia for a history course cause questioning at an interview? I'd rather not Adcoms think I am a communist! (supposed to be an easy class)

i hope this isn't a joke because im going to answer honestly...

rigor does NOT matter, ESPECIALLY for general ed classes :laugh:

(there is some debate whether the "rigor" of your major matters)
