Does having an MPH do anything for you when applying to EM residency programs? My school has a program for med students, and I was just wondering if it would be worth my time?

Thanks for the input.

More MPH is always better. Especially in the automotive world.

An MPH doesn't hurt (I have one). Realistically I got as much "milage" (pardon the pun Veers) from the work I did to get the MPH as I did the degree itself. If you are giving any thought at all to an academic career when you are done with residency then I would tell you to absolutely get the MPH. Sadosty, Decker, and Stead in a recent AEM article talk about advanced degrees as an avenue into academia.
