I don't know what batch I was in but I know my apps got sent out early in August. My scores just got sent in.
Does this mean my app will be looked at first as opposed to later batches or am I in the same pile as the completed apps that just arrived?

I think you're grouped with the people who just completed. Schools generally won't look at your application until the DAT scores are sent in.

Depends on the school but usually you're going to be grouped based on your application complete date.

Wow! Cool xray....I've never seen anything like that before!

So do you mean I am grouped with the group I came in with even though the DAT scores weren't included? I know they won't check it until they get my scores but thought maybe there would be more priority on mine since my app was sent in earlier.

Yeah, it is a cool x ray! They're called kissing molars (cute name) and apparently they're extremely rare.

It depends on the school but if your DAT scores aren't in, your application gets stuck in the "incomplete" pile. They regularly check these files to see if they've been complete for review but this can take some time. The trick is to call them up about your status and if they're nice they'll immediately mark your application as complete and send it off for review. That's what I did for VCU. I called them (Mrs. Tweedy) about my application status and a few minutes later AADSAS indicated that my application was complete. About a week later, I got the interview invitation. 😀

Update: I called the school last week and they told me they couldn't tell me my status but since the app had come in last month they reviewed it without the DAT scores. My scores got to them about 2 weeks ago and I just got an interview invite. I guess I wasn't in the pile of applications that just came in!

I called VCU on Friday because they hadn't sent me any news since early August (when they listed what needs to be sent for a complete app). I told them my DAT scores went out at the beginning of this month and received no news about my app being complete. They took my name down and said they'd look into it. No updates still though 🙁

Congrats!

How can you score a 20 AA and not know how to use the contraction of "you are"?!

It's a mistake I often catch but alas it's in my post title and I'm not sure I can change it for you. I am a jack of all trades and master of none perhaps? I rocked orgo but I'm not a spelling B champ.
I'm glad you jacked this post just to point that out.

The irony is killing me.

I stand corrected and will now proceed walking with my tail between my legs. On the bright side, I did learn something.

Place a question mark or exclamation point within closing quotation marks if the punctuation applies to the quotation itself. Place the punctuation outside the closing quotation marks if the punctuation applies to the whole sentence.

Your website looks real legit.

"In all the examples above, note how the period or comma punctuation always comes before the final quotation mark."

I know I get carried away with this sort of stuff, I apologize.
