At my university, part of my major requirement is completing a physics lab. The physics series I am in is calculus based. I have a choice to take any physics lab.. however, on my school's website it says "either 2BL, 2CL or 2DL. PHYS 2CL is recommended and is usually the course required by pharmacy schools. "

Now.. how true is that? Everytime I go to a pharm school website all it says is, "physics and lab required". How strict are they?

Physics 2CL
Physics Laboratory: Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Optics

Physics 2BL
Physics Laboratory–Mechanics and Electrostatics

The only reason I am asking is because 2BL has more openings.

I'd call the school and ask, definitely don't chance it. Each school is a little different and some even have a bit of flexibility in what they will allow. For example I took an algebra based physics course over the summer and it had no lab component and was fine.
