I'm taking Orgo, Biology, 2 labs (hard classes that demand a lot of work), and a class with an intense workload. Although I'm doing fine so far (As in all science classes, a possible B in a non pre-req class), I'm so exhausted. I'm taking Physics, a lab, and easy classes next year. Is/was your junior year easier than your sophomore year?

It totally depends on your selection of classes. For me personally, junior year was easiest. My first 2 years I was in a major that I LOATHED and was not good at. My senior year, the classes were not too bad, BUT I had a senior thesis to write :barf: and I had to arrange my whole immigration shebang, which was very stressful and time-consuming, so that was not the most enjoyable year.

Nope, after your sophomore year of college, everything just gets worse and worse. Then you die. Good luck.

Senior year difficulty >> any other years. Of course, I'm studying engineering.

I found upper division classes to be easier. Labs in general suck, and you'll likely have less of these as well.

Junior year is harder, managing your time gets easier.

There is still life after senior year doinmybest5840, a medical student life 🙁.

Depends on your major....I chose one of the hardest, die-hard bio majors, so every year got progressively harder. I always wonder about the kids that have a huge upward trend......I wish I would have, but at least mine pretty much stayed stagnant (except for that one semester near the end where everything went down the drain).

HAHAHA silly silly child.

I am a current junior and already am ready to crack. I am taking 16 credits (which really isnt a lot) but then again im a chem major so im taking Quantum chemistry, inorganic chemistry, orindary differential equations, 2 humanities and a ballet class.. on top of volunteering and working and dancing... junior yr blows man.. cant wait for 2nd semester senio ryr. I will hopefully have ogtten into a med school and can spend my time partying.. for the last time probably

The year you are in is irrelevant to the difficulty. YOU control how difficult your semesters can be.

Dont worry its all down from here...it gets much much easier during medical school...and super easy with no time commitment at all during residency.

Kinda what I was thinking...

Order of difficulty, from easiest to hardest:

High school
Senior year of college
Freshman/sophomore year of college
Junior year of college
MS-I/MS-II years
MS-IV year
MS-III year
Internship

Etc.
