Does my PI count as a science LOR if I received credit towards my sGPA?

I work in a lab in which one semester I conducted research for course credit that applied towards my cGPA/sGPA. Does the LOR I received from my PI count as a "science" LOR when applying for medical schools?

You would have to refer to specific schools you are applying to, unfortunately. For me, it would have counted for some schools, and for others, it wouldn't. My suggestion is to use up as many letters as AMCAS lets you (and you can get) and customize the letters sent to each school based upon their requirements. Don't just get the standard 2 sci/1 non science letters.
