Does Penn send out waitlist letters?

Did anyone get notified by Penn that they were on the waitlist? Or does anyone know if they just keep you in limbo. I interviewed in October and haven't received anything in the mail still.

I got a wait list letter from them last year so I'm guessing that they till send them.

my dad called me today and said an acceptance package from penn came. I don't know if it got lost or if it was recently postmarked though...
