MY ex-pharmacy manager was a PharmD Purdue grad and had nothing but good things to say about the school. They also have a Nuclear-Pharmacy program, which a lot of smaller schools don't have. To be honest (I'm from the midwest), I'd probably pick Purdue over UCSD or UCSF. With so many good schools in california, and the cali schools preparing students so well for the boards, somehow Purdue gets overlooked. UofA and UofM are other great schools.

My chemistry prof encouraged me to apply to Purdue, but I didn't want to move that far away. He was more familiar with their chemistry program than with pharmacy, but felt that their chem program was the best in the nation.

Purdue is good school, my sister will get a Bachelor degree next year from Purdue University West Lafayette.

Very good school. I've been waaaay impressed w/the pharmacists i've met from there. A couple told me they were glad they didn't get into ucsf bc they liked there experience at purdue so much. A lot of funding there from industry.
