Does Rigor of College course matter..?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I sure hope so. I took at least 8 courses/semester and at least 4 of them were in the sciences.

Topic.

When it comes to admissions, does the rigor even matter?
Someone that just takes pre-reqs vs others that take more upper divs and etc..

Only if you do well in them and survive. Then the transition to pharmacy school classes will be smoother.

The pre-reqs aren't usually upper division classes. Upper division classes are usually 300, 400, 3000 or 4000 course numbers, depending on the state you attend classes in. If you are taking any, it usually means you either got AP credit for the freshman and/or sophomore level courses in high school. Upper division courses don't look bad at all, they just mean you're further along with that particular course of study. Just do your best in all your classes and that's about all that can be done.
